Well, here's something to get excited about. During the 2005 Christmas season, this magnificent creation was displayed in the State Dining Room of the White House. It was created by Thaddeus DuBois, who was White House pastry chef at the time. Interestingly, there were two different landscaping treatments for this structure, with the one below probably used during the autumn months just before the holiday season. The trees look a little spooky, so maybe this was the Halloween version. See more photos here.
