Ever notice how you can tell right away whether an adult hijacked a child's gingerbread project? The best advice I ever got was to get out of the way and let the kids take over. You never know what they will come up with and their creativity is amazing.
I've been sitting in corporate diversity training since the mid '70s, but kids get it instinctively. Here are a couple of angels watching down on folks from the rooftop of a no-bake, graham cracker gingerbread house. They were made from wads of tinted fondant, rolled and pinched into shape. Fondant generally dries within a couple weeks. Entered into a local contest a few years ago, this house won third place in the children's division.
