If you're not making a springtime gingerbread house, you may well be pondering your entry for one of this year's Peeps diorama competitions. Contest entries are now being accepted at the Twin Cities Pioneer Press, with a new a video competition component that is sure to produce some hilarious moments.
Ideas: Peep melt-down in the microwave set to audio howling screechfest of the woman who showed up late for her flight (all over the web today). And how many peep octuplet dioramas will we see this year? Pop culture peeps are always funny, but I usually laugh loudest and/or marvel most at the unexpected themes. See the Washington Post's Peep Show II, where an imaginative Egyptian tomb with peep mummy launches the best entries of last year. (Just sit through a 15-second ad ... it's worth it.)
